Good evening everyone,
I hope you are getting some rest during this long weekend. The upcoming 6 days are going to be incredibly busy, and the students are going to need energy, good time management, organization, and familial support to maneuver through them.
So, let's get started.
Here are your announcements (please read this communication in its entirety, as there are important dates and links embedded throughout this transmission, and please keep it in your inbox for reference as needed):
In fundraising news, the music program and our bingo manager are incredibly thankful for those individuals who volunteer at our Sunday bingo sessions. The educational opportunities afforded to our students are a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our bingo volunteers and the proceeds that bingo brings to the program. We would love to see all of you at a bingo session. Spending just two Sundays with us would fulfill your volunteer hours in the music program for the entire school year. Please reach out directly to our bingo manager using our website or her direct phone number (916) 267-1588 if you have specific questions. You may also go directly to our Sign-up Geniusfor available volunteer time slots. Our website offers general information about the bingo location. Thank you so much for your support and time!
Continuing with volunteer news, please be on the lookout for communications related to our volunteer needs at the Tournament of Champions in Fairfield on Saturday, November 17th (more on the event below).
For a list of donations needed for the Fairfield event, please view the Sign-up Genius. Donations can be dropped off at the band room before 4:00 p.m. each day, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, (or before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday). Thanks so much!
In fundraising news, the annual pancake breakfast is coming! Please join us for some pancakes and relaxation on Saturday, December 1st from 8:30 - 11:30in Inderkum's atrium. The students were given pre-sale sheets for the event. Please connect with them and encourage family and friends to purchase tickets! Running concurrently with the pancake breakfast is the annual craft fair. If you are crafty and would like to create and donate items for this craft fair, we would love to speak with you! If your students would like to create and donate items to this event, we encourage their involvement. Please reach out to our fundraising coordinator for specific questions related to either event. You may also visit our website for a link to purchase tickets. We'll see you there!

The students have only 4 more school days until Thanksgiving Break, and they will be busy. Please support them in every way possible. If at any point they need extra support, they may reach out to the band directors, their teachers, school counselors and staff, and any member of the music program's executive board for assistance. We are here to help, and we are happy to do so.
Please look for communications and reminders throughout the week. Fairfield is our finish line for marching season, and we still have lots to do before crossing it. Eyes forward, everyone. We can do it!
Thanks for your continued support. We appreciate every member of our music family!
Have a wonderful week, and we'll see you on Tuesday at school (no school tomorrow!)
