Good evening everyone,
I hope the start to your Thanksgiving Break has been filled with family, friends, great food, football, and good health.
A most unique week has ended. It was with extreme sadness that we were forced to cancel events for the music program. The students handled the circumstances with maturity and respect, and we are very proud of them. The directors and the music booster's executive board are discussing ways to more appropriately end our marching season, particularly for our senior students. Please look for communications regarding this matter. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding during this extraordinary time. Join us in sending good thoughts to all of the individuals affected by the fires and to our first responders who risk their lives to keep us safe.
Here are your announcements:
In volunteer news, please consider joining us at a Sunday bingo session. We would love to see you there! Please examine the Sign-up Genius for available volunteer opportunities. You may also contact our bingo managerdirectly for more information. Bingo is a fun and easy way to fulfill your volunteer hours for the year, so come on out! Thank you so much for your time!
In fundraising news, the pancake breakfast is Saturday, December 1st in Inderkum's atrium. Students were given pre-sale forms. The pre-sale price is $7.00 per ticket, and $2.00 will be placed in the students' band accounts for each ticket pre-sale. The ticket price will be $8.00 on the day of the event (at the door). Please examine the flyer for more information. Running concurrently with the pancake breakfast is the annual craft fair. If you are crafty and would like to create and donate items for this craft fair, we would love to speak with you! If your students would like to create and donate items to this event, we encourage their involvement. Please reach out to our fundraising coordinator for specific questions related to either event. You may also visit our website for a link to purchase tickets for the breakfast. We'll see you there!

Another countdown has begun. The students have exactly 19 school days left in this semester. They will be packed with activities, performances, fundraisers, and finals. Busy, challenging days coupled with the Holiday season can create notable anxiety for the students. Now more than ever, it is very important that you continue to check Inderkum's master calendar and to regularly connect with your students to assist them with time management and organization. Your connection and involvement with their educational experiences are vital to their success. Teachers, counselors, and administration are available to assist you and your students when needed. All of us on the music booster's executive board are happy to help your students in all ways possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance when needed.
As we approach this Thanksgiving week, I would like to express my profound thanks to all of you for your continued support of the students, the music program, and all that is Inderkum. Your support makes the students' educational experiences meaningful and memorable, as well as possible. You are very appreciated!
I would also like to thank you for the nice comments and feedback I have received. I truly value it all. It is my pleasure to serve as your communications director, and I am always here to assist you.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!
