There is another SAT opportunity scheduled for this Saturday, December 2nd. The band does not have an event scheduled, so please have your student take the test on this date if possible.
Our winter concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 7th. Please mark your calendars! There are volunteer needs related to this event. Please reach out to ourvolunteer coordinators directly for more information.
Please regularly check Inderkum's website for important dates, events, etc. so that you may plan accordingly with your student and avoid scheduling conflicts. Looking forward, NUSD has a minimum day (staff development) on Tuesday, December 12th, and dismissal is 12:00 p.m. that day. Finals week for Inderkum is December 19th - 21st, and dismissal is 12:00 p.m. on those days. There will be no late-start on December 20th. Winter Break is December 21st - January 7th.
If you are joining us on the trip to Florida in April, and if you are using your student's account to help fund the trip, please refer to the email message from our president sent out on November 6th for instructions. As a reminder, the next payment to World Projects is due on December 15th, in the amount of $500.00.
As marching season is behind us, we are now on a regular schedule of 7th period from 3:04 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each school day for all band members. Students involved in ensembles such as winter percussion, winter guard, honor band, and jazz band will be given separate schedules soon.
There are just 19 school days left until Winter Break, and these 19 days will be very busy! Please encourage your students to eat well, rest, remain focused, and arrive at school prepared and ready to work. Preparing for musical performances, coupled with studying for finals and fulfilling holiday obligations, can be incredibly draining. With the cold and flu season among us, it is important that we support the students and encourage good choices. Thank you for setting your students up for success!
If I may assist you in any way, please reach out to me.
Welcome back, everyone. Have a fantastic week, and we'll see you at the pancake breakfast on Saturday!
