Good evening everyone,
I hope you're rested and ready to start the week. This month is flying by, isn't it?
Here are your announcements:
Many thanks to all of the family members and friends who traveled to Loomis to support the band at the Del Oro Band Review yesterday. It is so incredibly important that we are present to support the students' efforts and to encourage them down the street. Our band continues to impress spectators and to promote dialogue amongst other musicians in attendance. Way to go, everyone! Let's keep the enthusiasm high! Please click here for the link to the video of the march.
In volunteer news, bingo remains the highest priority. We desperately need help and are reaching out to all families for assistance. Please contact our bingo manager directly for more details. She is waiting to hear from you. You may also visit our website for more information. The Sign-up Genius is always available, so please take a look and consider joining us!
For information on fundraising events for the music program, please visit our website. Among the events currently being planned: our 2nd Tiger Bazaar, our pancake breakfast and craft fair, paint night, and poker night. We would love to see you all at these events!

MARCHING BAND WILL PRACTICE ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS FROM 4:30 P.M. TO 6:30 P.M. REGULARLY THROUGHOUT MARCHING SEASON.
Please regularly check Inderkum's master calendar for dates, events, etc. to avoid scheduling conflicts with your students. Please check in with your students and assist them in all ways possible to stay organized. Organization and good time management are vital to success in school and in life.
Looking forward in the music program, we will likely have football game performances in November as well as two marching events (Lodi and Fairfield). The students need to be encouraged to stay healthy, which means adequate sleep, good food choices (ESPECIALLY BEFORE MARCHING EVENTS - the students must eat and stay hydrated), and familial support in all ways possible. If your students are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and tired, please encourage them to reach out and ask for help. Teachers, administrators, counselors, and all of us here on the executive board, for example, are here to support our music family. Let us know how we can help.
Have a wonderful week everyone, and please look for communication soon about our football game performance on Friday. Go Inderkum!
